2nd Drop Records | Pedestrian | New Release

We’re loving this latest release,  we’ve been following 2nd Drop Records for a number of years now and they are celebrating their 6th birthday in style by hosting room 3 at Fabric this Friday. This latest release, number 26 no less, is from Jack Sibley aka Pedestrian. With instant Fela Kuti overtones the A side “Kalakuta” offers a very African vibe provided by the collaboration on this particular track with Jack’s childhood friend Luke Tomkinson aka Jasperdrum. Both tracks have received big support already from Gilles Peterson, Akkord, Djrum, Dark Sky, Simbad, CRST, Patchwork Pirates and LV to name a few. But as always the proof is in the pudding so you might as well listen for yourself to make up your own mind. Check the release out below.
