Shanti Celeste will be the latest artist to release music on the secretsundaze imprint.

The Bristolian takes the reigns for the eighteenth release on Giles Smith and James Priestley’s label, gracing secretsundaze with 4 bouncy, groovy house cuts, incorporating elements of techno, electro and a dash of her own vocals for good measure.

This will be Shanti’s first release on a non-Bristolian label, following up previous material on her own BRSTL, Julio Bashmore’s Broadwalk and Idle Hands, the famous Stokes Croft record shop in which she also works.

Shanti has also now played secretsundaze’ infamous Bank Holiday events twice, performing alongside Roman Flügel and Endian for Secretsundaze’s 18th Birthday at Village Underground just last weekend.  Giles and James had the following to say on the new release:

“Secretsundaze 18th transmission comes with love from Bristol based artist and newcomer Shanti Celeste. Her monthly show on NTS Radio has been building nicely so we thought it only right to invite her to do her first 12″ for us. This will also be her first release on a non-Bristol based label so a coup for Secretsundaze.”
