“””We think it’s fair to say that SIZE? have pretty much made the NIKE AIR MAX LIGHT their shoe. Since they campaigned for it’s reissue back in 2007, they’ve churned out some seriously good releases. The recent Perf Pack offerings were brilliant, and the latest make-ups from the retailers design department are just as strong.
The Easter Editions of the 1989 runners are on point in both their materials and colourways, drawing inspiration from the Spring season and doffing their cap to the first, and very welcome break of the year. The suede on the overlays is some of the nicest we’ve seen on any Air Max of late, and the thick weave mesh that makes up the toebox and tongue is bang on.
The Lights started off their journey as the Air Max II, but quickly took on their existing name in reference to the lighter sole unit than that of it’s younger bro, the Air Max 1. Coming in two sweet colourways, Turquoise and Purple – which we managed to get our paws on to shoot below, these are excellent additions to any collection and the finishing touches of the gum outsole, two tone midsole, leather swoosh and embroidered heel branding, give them the premium look and feel they deserve.”””
