Dutch D&B producer Lenzman follows up September’s All For You with a new EP dropping next month.

The soulful drum & bass artist launched his label The North Quarter a mere five months ago, returning for 2017 with the generously sized 10-track Earth Tones EP. Earth Tones features the vocal talents of Dublin’s Steo and Manchester’s IAMDDB, as well as production credits from DJ Rockid, Submorphics and Jubei.

Speaking on the EP, Lenzman said: “This one’s a bit more diverse than the first but I’m trying to keep it organic, not super clean or super technical – just about vibe and about the human side of music. To me, they are earth tones… It’s the vibe the label is all about.”

Although the label so far only houses productions and remixes from Lenzman himself, he’s also experessed an interest in nurturing new talent and using the label as a vehicle for likeminded artists. Whether they’ll manifest as North Quarter releases from his peers or total up & comers remains to be seen.
