Danish waterproof specialists RAINS are back on form for AW15, presenting their latest collection of both mens and womens outerwear garments.
In just a few short years, they’ve made a name for themselves by producing quality, affordable pieces that mix the paramount of Scandinavian style with the functionality required for living in a country that rains on average 121 days a year.
This season again uses the ‘Soil’ colourway introduced earlier in 2015, often seen played against a rich navy blue in pieces such as the anorak and long jacket silhouettes. Lightweight fabrics with an elegant matte surface makes them comfortable to wear, and practical to carry around.
Women’s highlights include the trenchcoat-inspired Curve jacket and the athletic A-Jacket, featuring a two-way waterproof zipper that’s perfect for when London’s rainy yet humid.
Luggage-wise a sporty day bag, the MSN bag (a RAINS play on the classic backpack), and a scaled down waterproof “rush” tote bag promise to keep your computer or documents dry on a rainy day.
The RAINS AW15 collection is available now online, and arriving soon in UK stockists such as Number Six.
