West coast giants Stussy and Amsterdam label Patta have once again worked together on a collaborative collection.
The two brands look to their parallels and shared ethos in creating this newest line, taking inspiration from the worlds of music, art and classic era sportswear.
Shot in London and Paris by Violette Esmeralda, the collection makes various nods to both entitires’ shared musical infleunces, referencing rave culture with the smiley face graphic and Amsterdam’s particular club heritage with retro style patched denim.
Elsewhere, dual branding features heavily on tshirts, longsleeves and hoodies. A colourful parka is sure to be popular, whilst Stussy’s sought-after fleece also makes an appearance.
Stussy & Patta first worked together in 2009, producing a trio of tees marking Patta’s fifth year in the game. Their first full-sized collab didn’t arrive for another five years, debuting with a New York city pop up shop. The collection was well-received and introduced the Dutch label to a wider American market for the first time.
The 2015 Stussy x Patta collection will be available at Stussy New York and Patta Amsterdam this Saturday. A global release at Stussy Chapter Stores, the Stussy webstore and Patta retailers will drop next week on Saturday, December 18th.
