Detroit scene legend Theo Parrish has announced a digital reissue of his debut 1996 release, forthcoming on his own longstanding imprint, Sound Signature.
The Baby Steps EP was originally issued on Elevate, and now comes to forward-thinking music fans available in MP3, and lossless WAV and FLAC formats. Though the digital re-release is bound to annoy some vinyl purists, Parrish’s new album American Intelligence is also being released imminently, with white label copies already being snapped up in Detroit record shops. The album is Theo’s first LP since Sound Sculptures Vol.1 in 2007.
