Review: Somerley Tea Party Festival 2016
Somerly Tea Party took place from 3rd-4th June set in the grounds of a manor house in the New Forest, Hampshire, and we had the opportunity to check it out for the first time. It was a wicked little festival in a great location, somewhat different to the main crowd of UK festivals. It had the feel and vibes of festivals like Bestival and Secret Garden Party but, being in only it’s 3rd year was a way more intimate and cozy affair than these comparable giants.
Despite it’s size it felt like it lacked for nothing, with a load of boutique stalls to spend your left over beer money, a full sized fun fair and plenty of top notch nosh to try out over the weekend. And with a surprisingly heftly including names like High Contrast, Annie Mac, Eats Everything, Joy Orbison, Roman Flugel and Ben Pearce this Tea Party will continue to go from strength to strength. We’re looking forward to seeing what’s on offer next year!
