This weeks ‘Trainer of The Week’ features the reworking of one of the most iconic trainers of the last 30 years. The global release is an extremely limited, so don’t expect this sneaker of the week to be available at selected retailers for long.
2013 has seen Reebok collaborate with a multitude of stores and brands to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the ‘Classic’ silhouette. Reebok’s latest collaborative project sees the British Sportswear Giant team up with Japanese Streetwear staple Head Porter Plus. The iconic Classic Leather resembles the original silhouette, despite having new materials applied to the upper, laces and interior. The Reebok Classic’s upper is constructed entirely from horsehair, appearing as a superior all-over leopard print lining twinned with a beige leather lining for maximum quality on this iconic silhouette.
Other premium features include; a full grain leather tongue, a tonal beige midsole partnered up black outsole to match the colour-way of the upper, waxed black laces, and a spare set of gold nylon laces, with the finishing touch of the Head Porter Plus logo embossed onto the luxury, leather insole. The Head Porter Plus x Reebok Classic Leather 30th Anniversary is available at Reebok Certified Network partner Wellgosh both online and in-store.
